Trafalgar House, a specialist third-party pensions administrator, today announced they have achieved their second Investor in People (IIP) Gold accreditation.  The audit and review process occurs every three years and is a comprehensive, independent, evaluation which assess organisations against established benchmarks in people management, notably strategies, initiatives and overall performance.

Recognised globally, IIP is granted to organisations that have been able to demonstrate a clear commitment to the workforce that drives their business. Only 17% of IIP accredited organisations achieve the coveted gold standard.

Lisa Beckett, Head of People & Culture at Trafalgar House; said: “We take our responsibility to our employees just as seriously as our responsibility to our clients and are committed to providing a supportive work environment that allows individuals to thrive. Gaining the Investors in People Gold accreditation for the second time demonstrates we are doing what we say we do. It’s a rigorous process and we are particularly pleased to have received standout recognition of our genuine and honest approach, which aligns perfectly with our values. Our apprenticeship programme and our inclusion and diversity initiatives demonstrate our commitment to talent and we are proud to foster an environment that empowers everyone to bring their true selves to work.“

Beckett continued: “It’s a complex market at the moment for recruitment and retention in the pensions industry, particularly in the administration space and many organisations and teams are suffering. As a result, so too are pension schemes that are receiving less than adequate service levels – all of which has a direct impact on member outcome and experience.  We have always been able to attract top tier talent and we have reinforced this by strategically developing our operations around employee development and wellbeing meaning people want to stay with us. A thriving team means our clients will continue to benefit from the best the market has to offer.  We are particularly proud that our scores were above the IIP accredited organisation average and significantly above industry average.  The achievement of this accreditation reaffirms not only the effectiveness of our approach but also confirms that Trafalgar House is an exceptional place to work.”
