Trafalgar House strengthens trustee secretarial service with Kate Hall appointment
Kate has over 20 years’ experience in the pensions industry and will be using her expertise to support trustees in the running of their scheme, delivering a range of key secretarial, governance and project management services.
Kate’s most recent role was as a Reward Pensions Specialist at Leeds Building Society providing strategic advice and trustee secretariat support – including managing a DC Master Trust transition and implementing a retirement transfer arrangement. Kate had previously spent 18 years as a Consulting Actuary at Willis Towers Watson, providing actuarial and consultancy support to trust-based pension schemes, as well as managing a range of risk reduction projects.
Daniel Taylor, Client Director at Trafalgar House, said:
“In the current environment, effective scheme management and governance is paramount. We are therefore very pleased to be able to welcome someone with Kate’s expertise to the team. Kate brings with her a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience from funding, risk, scheme strategy and project handling – and will be a valuable addition to our secretariat service.”
Kate Hall, Secretary to the Trustee at Trafalgar House, said:
“As specialists in administration and scheme support, I was immediately drawn to Trafalgar House. Schemes require more expert support than ever, so I am looking forward to putting my experience into practice and showing the strategic side to the secretariat role. Whether through scheme change projects, governance, or simply more effective management of responsibilities, the scheme secretary position has been expanding in its value and importance. I am keen to show the benefits the role can bring and help Trafalgar House further expand the service.”
Kate has been a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA) since 2003 and holds the PMI Award in Pension Trusteeship.
