We are seeking highly experienced and detail-orientated pensions administrators to join our dynamic and motivated Member Services Team. As part of this team, you will provide exceptional service to clients with both Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) arrangements.

As an ideal candidate, you must have a minimum of five years of experience in DB and DC administration, with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service, exceptional attention to detail, and a strong commitment to teamwork. Additionally, knowledge of IntelliPen and holding recognised pensions qualifications would be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a first-class service to clients in accordance with agreed measures and timescales.
  • Allocate and check the work of Pensions Associates for accuracy and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Process all aspects of membership administration, including providing benefit quotations to members.
  • Ensure all written and verbal communication is accurate and presented in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of DB and DC administration, including benefit calculations, contracting-out and the Pension Freedoms.
  • Produce stewardship reports within the required timescales.
  • Ensure processes and documentation are kept up to date and challenge procedures to identify process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Undertake periodic and ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
  • Participate in new business exercises, representing the Company to external prospects and clients as required.

 

Professional Qualities:

Essential:
  • Computer literate and experienced in the use of MS Office.
  • Extensive DB/DC experience.
  • Ability to complete manual calculations accurately.
  • Good team player.
  • Knowledge and understanding of current pension legislation and an appreciation of upcoming changes.

 

Desirable:
  • PMI Qualified (or studying).
  • Experience of managing and delivering projects for clients to specification, time, and budget.
  • Prior use of the IntelliPen administration system.
  • Experience of leading on DB and/or DC scheme(s).

 

Personal Qualities:

  • Well organized and has a flexible attitude to comfortably accommodate change.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Reports to: Lead Pensions Associate
