We are seeking a talented Lead Pensions Associate to join our team.
As the Lead Pensions Associate, you will be responsible for managing a team and ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely pension services to our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring team performance, allocating and checking work for accuracy, providing technical assistance, and identifying process improvements. The ideal candidate is an experienced team player with extensive DB/DC experience and knowledge of current pension legislation. Responsibilities:
- Monitor team performance against service objectives and escalate issues when necessary
- Manage and motivate team members as needed
- Allocate and check work for accuracy and timely completion
- Provide technical assistance to the team for complex tasks
- Process member service requests accurately and on time
- Maintain understanding of DB and DC administration, including benefit calculations and Pension Freedoms
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 policies and processes
- Produce reports and information as needed
- Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
- Participate in new business exercises
Requirements:
- Experienced with MS Office and computer literate
- Strong team player with line management experience
- Extensive DB/DC experience with ability to complete accurate manual calculations
- Knowledge of current pension legislation and upcoming changes
- PMI qualification (or studying), project management experience, and familiarity with IntelliPen administration system preferred
- Well-organized and flexible with excellent communication skills
- Confident decision-maker who understands impact of decisions made
