1. Introduction
These Terms of Service apply to individuals who choose to use Stripe to make payments, including but not limited to pension scheme members, beneficiaries, ex-members, spouses, relations, or other connected parties.
This payment service is provided directly by Stripe to you as an individual user. It is not provided by the pension scheme to which your payment relates, nor by Trafalgar House Pensions Administration Limited (Trafalgar House), which acts solely as a facilitator of this payment option. Trafalgar House does not manage, control, or process payments made through Stripe.
If you prefer not to use this service, payments can be made via bank transfer instead. To arrange a direct bank transfer, please contact Trafalgar House for details on how to make a payment outside of Stripe.
2. Scope of Service
- Stripe provides an online payment processing service that allows individuals to make payments securely.
- The pension scheme and Trafalgar House do not process or handle Stripe payments. Trafalgar House facilitates access to Stripe as an option, but all payments are processed independently by Stripe.
- Use of the Stripe service is subject to Stripe’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
3. Eligibility
To use this service, you must:
- Be a pension scheme member, beneficiary, ex-member, spouse, relation, or another connected party authorised to make payments.
- Provide accurate payment and personal information.
- Comply with these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.
4. Payment Processing
- Payments are securely processed by Stripe, and neither the pension scheme nor Trafalgar House stores or processes payment details.
- Trafalgar House is not responsible for any issues arising from Stripe’s processing of payments, including delays, failures, or security incidents.
- Payments made through Stripe are final unless otherwise required by law.
5. Alternative Payment Option
If you prefer not to use Stripe, payments can be made via bank transfer. To arrange a bank transfer, please contact Trafalgar House for details on how to make a direct payment outside of Stripe.
6. Fees and Charges
- Any applicable processing fees will be displayed before completing a transaction.
- You are responsible for ensuring that sufficient funds are available to complete the payment.
- Trafalgar House is not liable for any additional charges applied by your bank or financial institution.
7. Refunds and Disputes
- Payments made through Stripe are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
- If you believe a payment was made in error, you should contact Trafalgar House immediately.
- Disputes relating to Stripe’s services must be raised directly with Stripe.
8. Security and Fraud Prevention

9. Limitation of Liability
- The pension scheme and Trafalgar House are not responsible for any losses, including but not limited to indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, resulting from your use of Stripe.
- Neither Trafalgar House nor the pension scheme guarantees that the Stripe payment service will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.
10. Changes to Terms
Trafalgar House reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of the service will constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By proceeding with a payment through Stripe, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, you must not proceed with a payment.
