We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Client Projects Delivery Manager to join our Client Projects & Data team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in scoping, defining and managing the overall delivery of client project work, working closely with client relationship managers and other teams across the business.

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for and manage the end to end delivery of client projects to time, cost and scope for all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Analysing requirements to scope and define client project work, to include any work identified during implementation or as part of the tender process, ensuring estimated effort and costs are accurate
  • Manage the progress and completion of client project work in line with proposal documents to expected target dates and to meet revenue requirements, ensuring any potential risks are flagged and mitigated
  • Work cross functionally to ensure the necessary resource is scheduled to deliver the requirements and scope of the project
  • Work closely with the Client Relationship Managers to manage client expectations, identify and increase revenue opportunities
  • Continually review and improve processes and build in efficiencies, and reduce project write offs
  • To meet and exceed the monthly project revenue targets for the team, and to maximise high margin revenue generation for the business.
  • Ensure that data quality and integrity is promoted and addressed as part of client project requirements
  • Organising and attending internal and external project meetings to deliver status reports and project updates
  • Review of client reports, ensuring these are to a high standard and in line with business document standards
  • Provide expertise on the processes and systems around which a project is focused, particularly in relation to pension administration and legislative requirements and previous projects completed
  • Reporting to the business on a monthly basis on progress, billing and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with both ISO 27001 and the Information Security Management System processes taking responsibility for the relevant risks and controls
  • Take an active role in the quarterly Managers Meetings representing Client Projects area

Professional qualities

Essential

  • A-Level or equivalent
  • GCSE English and mathematics (A-C)
  • Strong technical Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution knowledge including complex administration
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Five years prior experience in pension administration including experience of project work and leadership
  • Data analysis experience
  • Highly computer literate and experienced in pension administration systems, strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, Word (including mail merge)

Desirable (but not essential)

  • PMI Qualified
  • Business analysis qualification
  • Prior experience of pensions scheme projects

  • Self-starter, able to work with minimum supervision
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships with management, staff and clients across the business
  • Solution based thinking and proven problem solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must have a flexible attitude and be able to comfortably accommodate change
  • Desire to stay updated on current and new developments in the pensions industry and pensions legislation
  • Desire to learn new skills
  • Ability to multitask and strong time management and organisational skills
